I will be signing books and talking about The Teas That Bind at The Cat’s Meow on Friday 11 May. The event runs from 8:30-10:30pm and tickets are 3,500 yen, which includes a drink, snacks and a copy of the book. Come along to hear all about surviving earthquakes, one pot of tea at a time…
You can also get your book signed and ask any questions you have about the book, volunteering, tea, earthquakes and self-publishing. Full details and a form to RSVP are here.
Hope to see you there!

Like, like, like. I’m wooping for you long-distance, sorry I can’t be there. V exciting.
Also intrigued as to the kinds of snacks and “a” drink one might get for 20-odd quid…
“I’ll have the, uh, Thailand Giant Catfish goujons, please, and some patatas d’oro – yeah, the ones in gold leaf. Did you want to share some Persian Leopard kofte?”
“Just a 200-year-old Talisker, please.”
Cheers pal. Never, ever come to Tokyo, it’s just not made for Yorkshiremen.
